Apollo 5 will feature folk, pop, and classical on March 13th!

This smooth vocal quintet from London consists of two sopranos, one tenor, one baritone and one bass blends their superb individual voices in a nicely-mixed program that includes classical folk and pop music. 
You’ll love it!  Apollo 5 is on its first major tour in the United States, and one of the stops on the tour is at the Belle Fourche Area Community on Tuesday, March 13, 2018.   Brought to town by the Center of the Nation Concert Association, the Apollo 5  a capella concert will begin at 7:30 p.m.

These talented singers include (above, left-to-right): 
§  CIARAN – Irish tenor – graduate of the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin.  First pursued a career in opera before choral music became his main interest.

§  CHARLOTTE – Soprano – grew up in a musical family and held a choral scholarship at Nottingham University before studying Italian and singing in Rome.  Joined Apollo5 in2013 and is the group’s resident choreographer.

§  GREG – Baritone – also a graduate of Nottingham University, Greg sang with the National Youth Choir of Great Britain, and pursues his interest in acting with the National Youth Music Theatre.

§  CLARE – Soprano – very active with charity work and is responsible for developing Apollo 5.  She has degrees from the University of St. Andrews and is heavily involved with many top galleries particularly in the field of contemporary art.

§  ALEX – Bass – loves opera as well as acapella singing.  He has been part of the Grange Park Opera chorus for many seasons, and sings in the Philharmonia Chorus in London.  He is a patron of The Chiltern Centre (disabled children care).
